
Element Dance Artists are CRB checked and all have a vast range of teaching experience, including training with the National Dance Teachers Association, The Yorkshire Dance Centre, Birmingham City Council and more.
Element Dancers can be brought into Schools to teach a specific dance style (See Dance Styles for more information) or to choreograph a performance piece on students over a short or longer period of time. We can fit workshops with activity week themes and other events.
The Elements (Educational Package);Aims and Objectives; To begin to learn about Slavery, and the history of Brazil. To learn about the Orixas- Brazilian Gods/ deities linked to the Elements, and to explore the elements using dance movement.

(Resource information also offered)Aims and Objectives: To work as a team and use cooperation through games and exploratory tasks to learn about Samba and the History of Brazil. To each begin to learn skills of coordination involved in the Samba dance and and to finish up with an all dancing event. Dance and Drums (as an educational Package, Teacher’s Inset)
Splitting the workshops up, Pupils and teachers will learn drumming and dancing, and finish up with a finale performance combining the two.
Krump Off (as an educational Package, Teacher’s Inset) (Resource information also offered);
Learn to ‘Get Krump’, Learn the History of the Dance, Paint your face up Krump Styles, Choreograph and perform a ‘Battle’. (This includes tasks such as designing your own face paint)(To find out more about Krumping go to Dance Styles>Krumping)
Carnival Parading (as an educational Package, Teacher’s Inset (Resource Information offered);
Learn about and dance all the different Sections of the Rio Carnival, Create your own Costumes (optional extra), Learn the Samba Steps, Create the Carnival (Inside winter, Outside during the summer) (Add in drums and costumes for an extra sparkle).
